About The Position
Semsee is an AI-powered wholesale insurance platform giving retail agents real-time access to 75+ admitted and E&S markets, rated, quoted, and bound in minutes. We’ve eliminated the back-and-forth, the re-keying, and the wait times that have defined traditional wholesale brokerage for decades. As an Inside Sales Manager, you won’t be selling insurance, you'll be opening doors. Connect agents to a platform that makes their businesses more competitive, and grow into a territory-owning Regional Sales Manager role as you build your presence. We’re building something genuinely new in an industry that’s been doing things the same way for 50+ years. You’ll work at the intersection of insurance, technology, and AI — and you’ll actually understand all three. You’ll be part of a small, fast-moving team where your contributions are seen and your growth is real. You’ll represent a platform that agents genuinely love using because it saves them hours every week. You’ll have a clear path forward. This role is designed to grow into a Regional Sales Manager position as you build your market presence.
Requirements
- 6 months to 1+ year of experience in a relationship-based sales, business development, or customer-facing role.
- A natural communicator — clear, confident, and genuine whether you’re on the phone, on a video call, or in a room.
- Self-motivated with a drive to hit goals and grow beyond them.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and consistent with follow-through.
- Active state insurance producer license, or the ability and commitment to obtain one within a defined timeframe after hire.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or a B2B sales environment.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce) and comfort in a tech-forward environment.
- Curiosity about how AI and technology are changing traditional industries.

Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and connect with independent retail agents and brokerages across your market.
- Introduce agents to the Semsee platform and demonstrate the value of real-time market access — showing how it eliminates the friction of traditional wholesale brokerage.
- Build and nurture a pipeline of agent relationships that convert to active platform users.
- Qualify new agency relationships and gather key information to set Regional Sales Managers up for deeper partnership conversations.
- Serve as a knowledgeable, energetic first point of contact — informed and genuinely excited about what the platform delivers.
- Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent follow-through.
- Be a confident, credible voice for Semsee in the market — someone agents want to hear from.
- Relay agent feedback and market insights to sales leadership to help shape strategy and product direction.
- Participate in industry events, carrier meetings, and platform demos as the team grows.
- Keep CRM activity, leads, and opportunities consistently logged and up to date.
- Follow up persistently and professionally to keep relationships warm and opportunities moving.
- Stay current on industry trends, market appetite, and platform updates so you can speak to agents with authority.
- Other duties as assigned.
