About The Position

We are seeking a results-driven Inside Sales Manager to drive results in our Advisor Sales Channel. This person should have a proven track record in both sales and a desire for sales leadership. In this role, the person will oversee the members of the inside sales team, ensuring they meet and exceed sales and service targets, while strategically contributing to business growth. This role requires a strong sales background, an understanding of investments and the related advisor industry. The person would have coaching skills, and the ability to balance tactical execution with strategic planning to drive measurable results.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within the asset management or financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive both tactical execution and strategic planning in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • A record of coaching and motivating teams to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and data analysis to track and manage sales performance.
  • Knowledge of asset management products, financial markets and deep knowledge of the financial advisor ecosystem.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, and inspire the inside sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Define, track, and analyze key sales performance metrics, ensuring accountability for continuous improvement and work with management to take action where needed.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and support to enhance team skills and capabilities.
  • Ensuring a strong pipeline of quality candidates by consistently engaging in conversations with potential candidates and organizations that lead to opportunities to engage in hiring discussions.
  • Work closely with advisor sales team members, operations, sales management and others to align sales efforts with broader business strategies.
  • Continuously refine sales processes, tools, and technology to maximize team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to guide sales strategy and decision-making.
