About The Position

White Cap is seeking an Inside Sales I associate to provide dependable service through accurate order entry, basic pricing, and secure payment handling. The role processes customer orders across multiple channels, handles payments, identifies stock products and comparable alternatives, and supports established margin goals and service commitments. Work is performed under close supervision using prescribed processes, with non-routine issues referred to a supervisor. Output may be subject to detailed checks or review by a senior coworker or supervisor.

The position is based in a comfortable indoor environment. Work is mostly seated, with frequent opportunities to move about and only rare need to move or lift light articles. Overnight travel is typically less than 10% of the time. A high school diploma or GED is strongly preferred, and the role requires 0–2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transactional tasks.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and associates.
• Basic understanding of product categories and pricing guidelines.
• Demonstrated teamwork and dependability in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
