About The Position

Nixon Power Services, the world’s largest distributor of Rehlko Power generators, is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Estimator for their Nashville, TN office. This role is essential to the sales process, focusing on creating accurate and timely estimates for power generation systems and associated products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and driven by deadlines, contributing to Nixon's reputation for premium services and customer satisfaction, ultimately driving business growth and retention.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field is required.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with strong attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in sales estimating strongly preferred.
Knowledge of power generation systems, electrical systems, or construction is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for generator systems, parts, and related services based on customer requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with the Sales team to review project scope and ensure estimates align with customer expectations.
Research and source pricing for materials and equipment from vendors and suppliers.
Respond to customer inquiries, provide technical product information, and offer recommendations tailored to their needs.
Maintain accurate records of estimates and quotes.
Stay up to date on industry trends and product developments.
Support the sales team with additional tasks and special projects as needed.
All other duties as assigned.
