About The Position

Founded in 1946 in Greensburg, PA, Scott Electric Company is a large independent electrical distributor with locations across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, and West Virginia. We are seeking career-oriented individuals to serve a diverse customer base including electrical, mechanical, and general contractors, industry, government agencies, municipalities, and retail hardware and building supply markets. Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, strong phone skills, interpersonal, verbal, and written skills
• Minimum of 1 year of electrical wholesaler sales experience
• Basic knowledge of electrical products
• Detail-oriented, able to multitask
• Strong ethics and able to work independently or collaborative team member
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Must submit to a background check and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Processing orders
• Preparing quotes
• Provide sales and customer service support to the DIY and Pro Retailer markets
• Servicing electrical accounts
• Assisting outside sales with customer needs
• Supporting inventory and merchandising for dealer partners
