About The Position

Our client is an e-commerce company specializing in home water filtration systems in the US market. They are expanding their remote international team and looking for an Inside Sales & Customer Success Specialist. This is a hybrid role combining sales ownership with customer support execution. The role structure is approximately 70% Sales and 30% Customer Support. The ideal candidate should have a strong sales mindset, experience with inbound and outbound communication, and confidence in closing deals independently.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven experience in sales, revenue generation, and deal closing.
  • Fluent American English (spoken and written) - this is a strict requirement with zero exceptions.
  • Solid experience working with CRMs ( Zoho CRM is highly preferred).
  • High comfort level with both inbound and outbound sales calls.
  • Strong objection handling, pricing discussion, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and consistently meet structured KPIs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in E-commerce (Shopify/Amazon ecosystems) or B2B sales.
  • Familiarity with logistics and fulfillment platforms such as ShipStation.
  • Experience with physical product sales (home improvement, appliances, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Convert inbound inquiries into completed purchases through structured conversations.
  • Conduct sales discussions focused on closing and objection handling.
  • Handle consistent follow-ups, lead nurturing, and re-engagement of potential clients.
  • Execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities (upgrading systems and replacement filters).
  • Conduct targeted outbound outreach to warm leads.
  • Maintain accurate records, logging interactions and pricing negotiations in Zoho CRM.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat with high responsiveness.
  • Process orders, refunds, replacements, and provide product consultations.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and fulfillment teams regarding shipping status and logistics issues.
  • Provide comprehensive pre-sale and post-sale support.
  • Report daily on sales activity, conversion performance, and customer feedback.
  • Maintain proper CRM tagging, segmentation, and interaction logging.
  • Coordinate with internal CS, CRM, and marketing teams to optimize the sales funnel.
