About The Position

The Inside Sales Coordinator is responsible for driving revenue through outbound and inbound sales activities while coordinating leads, proposals, and customer follow-up. This role expands on traditional inside sales responsibilities by acting as a central point of coordination between customers, field technicians, and installation teams. This position focuses heavily on converting unsold opportunities, maximizing lead value, and ensuring seamless sales-to-installation execution.

Requirements

  • Relevant education or equivalent work experience
  • Proven track record in sales or inside sales environment
  • Strong customer service and phone communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong follow-through
  • Financial acumen and understanding of job profitability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and sales/CRM systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical industry
  • Experience with ServiceTitan or similar systems
  • Familiarity with load calculations and system sizing
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform outbound calls on service invoices, unsold estimates, and marketing-generated leads
  • Convert inbound and outbound opportunities into booked jobs and closed sales
  • Establish customer rapport and recommend appropriate products and services
  • Overcome objections and guide customers toward confident purchasing decisions
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Create accurate, complete sales proposals that can be efficiently transferred to installation teams
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure job readiness and customer expectations are aligned
  • Track open opportunities and ensure timely follow-up on all leads
  • Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company standards
  • Perform basic load calculations and assess heating and cooling requirements (as applicable)
  • Communicate product knowledge, pricing, and service options clearly to customers
  • Develop understanding of local codes, product lines, and service offerings
  • Provide exceptional customer service through all communication channels
  • Build customer confidence through accurate, transparent, and professional communication
  • Address customer concerns and escalate when appropriate
  • Meet or exceed sales and booking targets
  • Drive accessory sales and maximize revenue per opportunity
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Ensure jobs are sold accurately without errors or omissions
