-Answer incoming calls, complete a lead form and direct the caller to the Director of Sales or Catering Manager -Assist guests with questions, changes and special requests -Create banquet event orders, letters and perform required administrative duties -Serve as liaison between the hotel and the group contact on in house groups -Implement program details including meeting requirements, accommodations, food & beverage functions, audio-visual requirements on in house groups -Organize all information into a written format (“Group Brief”) for internal distribution -Knowledge of menu planning, and the ability to “guide” a group towards meals most conducive to the size of their group and the space allotted -Maintain accurate, legible records and files -Create mailing lists, spreadsheets and other departmental projects as needed -Support and assist with servicing event
