About The Position

Carlin Horticultural Supplies is a family business with roots in the horticultural industry dating back to the early 1900s. They are a wholesale supplier for greenhouse, garden center, landscape, and nursery businesses, emphasizing superior customer service and quality products. The company is currently seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator for their Milwaukee, WI location. This role oversees the daily operations and performance of the Milwaukee-based Inside Sales team, ensuring high standards of customer service and efficiency. The position supervises Reception and Inside Sales staff and acts as a key liaison between the Milwaukee headquarters and branch locations to ensure consistent communication, messaging, and service across the organization.

Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent relevant experience
Previous staff management experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications
Strong conflict resolution, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to work a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with seasonal Saturday availability

Responsibilities

Coordinate staff scheduling and monitor attendance to ensure adequate coverage
Assign and manage Inside Sales representative routes for efficiency and accuracy
Ensure routes are followed and optimized to meet customer needs and company goals
Maintain and grow a personal book of business while building strong customer relationships
Provide ongoing product training and professional development for Inside Sales staff
Promote and uphold exceptional customer service standards for both internal and external customers
Serve as a communication link between headquarters and branch locations to ensure consistency
