Coordinate contract work between the customer’s needs and manufacturing capacity. Set-up and maintain customer files, confirm service orders, and create quotations of service pricing to customer. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One to two years clerical or related sales, customer service, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
  • Understands how to use Company intranet including navigating the Quality Environmental and CIT systems.
  • Must be able to look up a MSDS and understand SAP and Docuware.
  • Practice and follow the GBP and be knowledgeable in ISO 9001 & 14001.
  • Employee is required to learn, understand, and practice Lean Manufacturing principles within our facility.

Responsibilities

  • Quotation of contract services.
  • Confirming orders.
  • Filing of invoices and sales correspondence in Docuware.
  • Verify customer information and ship method in SAP.
  • Verify pricing.
  • Process credits as necessary.
  • Delivery follow-up.
  • Expedite orders.
  • Pulling design prints, when necessary.
  • Work closely with Receiving, Manufacturing, Coating, Shipping, and Inside Sales departments – this requires occasional trips to the shop floor where you will be exposed to operational machinery and other manufacturing processes.
