Sysco is seeking an Inside Sales Consultant to articulate and demonstrate the Sysco value proposition to engage and onboard new customers. This role focuses on increasing customer share of wallet, improving sales mix, and managing customer relationships through the CRM tool (Sysco 360). The consultant will manage various order management channels, including Phone, Email, and eCommerce, with a minimum of 50% focus on eCommerce. Key responsibilities include developing and retaining an account portfolio for profitable sales growth, resolving customer issues to ensure a positive experience, analyzing customer needs and market trends, and staying informed about market conditions and product innovations. The role also involves proactive learning and development to enhance consultative selling skills and product knowledge, as well as managing credit and accounts receivables. This position typically works traditional business hours, but hours may vary based on customer needs, and additional hours may be required. The role also requires compliance with Sysco's Food Safety Policy and procedures, a commitment to safe work practices with minimal environmental impact, and reporting of hazards and incidents. Other duties may be assigned.
