About The Position
The Inside Sales Consultant works alongside our outside sales staff to meet company goals. In addition to reaching out to potential new customers, this position will obtain and maintain orders from an established group of accounts and interact with customers by telephone to place orders.
Requirements
- 2 or 4-year BA/BS college degree or related industry experience.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Applications and the ability to learn new programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with professional telephone etiquette.
- Goal and results driven with the ability to work independently.
Nice To Haves
- Prior telephone sales experience
Responsibilities
- Calls potential new customers to create brand awareness and obtain initial orders.
- Responsible for making sales calls to an established customer base.
- Accurate data entry of customer orders.
- Maintains ongoing relationship with customers to ensure consistent orders on an ongoing basis.
- Identifies / closes and maintains orders from existing and new customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
