The Inside Sales Associate provides a high level of service to internal and external customers, establishes customer rapport, and uses effective questioning techniques to identify prospect needs, budget, decision-making process, timeline, and next steps. They utilize applicable sales tools such as Salesforce to track and effectively develop sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering OR High School Diploma with 3+ years of experience in HVAC sales in lieu of degree
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction, Facility Management, or Business
- HVAC industry knowledge
- Aptitude to understand building mechanical system basics, facility management budgeting processes, sustainability initiatives, and customer needs
- Strong communication skills and ability to present to clients and key stakeholders
- Strong team building and relationship building ability and desire
Responsibilities
- Sell and assist sales process; emphasize product features and select materials based on customer need, specifications, interests, demand, capabilities and limitations
- Coordinate estimating processes; work with customer, sales teams, estimating and leadership to generate accurate pricing proposals for new and existing products
- Maintain and interpret all quote documentation with accurate pricing and configurations; prepare quotes and contracts for potential customers
- Work with sellers in your assigned market to build out comprehensive quotes for repair and service opportunities
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
