About The Position

Univar Solutions is seeking a driven, curious, relentless, and relationship-focused problem-solver to join their team as an Inside Sales Account Manager. This role is responsible for growing business with new and existing customers by matching customer needs with the company's broad product portfolio, supported by digital tools, technical experts, specialized market expertise, and a global distribution network. The position is based in Providence, RI or Tewksbury, MA.

Requirements

A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a similar role within the B2B sales environment.
Demonstrated track record of success in building relationships and achieving sales targets.
Self-directed and focused on outcomes, taking initiative, acting decisively, and consistently delivering results.
Good listener, curious, with a passion for learning about customer needs, solving problems, and winning business.
Ability to plan and prepare to conduct effective virtual sales calls, make persuasive presentations, handle objections, negotiate, demonstrate value, and close deals.

A bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Cultivate strong relationships with customers by managing and growing accounts through consultative selling.
Find new opportunities with existing/qualified customers, win new business, and grow the territory through sales prospecting.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver top-tier service, technical support, safe and innovative solutions to customers as a Customer Experience Advocate.
Prioritize selling time and results to effectively manage the sales funnel and territory, and actively work to win back lost customers through portfolio management.
