About The Position

This is an In-office role in Scottsdale, Arizona, Monday – Friday; 8 am - 5 pm in office with rotational Saturday duty from home. As a Moderate Inside Property Adjuster, you will provide exceptional service to our policyholders. Working from our Scottsdale office, your primary responsibility will involve virtually inspecting damages, investigating coverage, preparing estimates, and settling claims promptly and accurately. You will be interacting with customers, contractors, and vendors through various software platforms such as Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration. This communication will take place through different channels, including voice calls, email, and text messages. This role places a particular focus on water losses, ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of support and resolution for these specific claims.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of previous customer service experience required
  • Ability to assess property damages and accurately determine claim coverage
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders remotely
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a virtual work environment
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on delivering high-quality and efficient claim resolutions
  • Must be willing to work some weekends and extended hours if necessary
  • Pass an additional background check with the Department of Labor (if licensing is required)
  • Secure license(s) within 60 days of hire (if required)
  • Have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions, along with appropriate desk and seating (if working from home)
  • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload (if working from home)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous industry experience is highly desired
  • Proficiency in using Xactimate and other relevant software for virtual assessments is preferred

  • Execute policies along policy agreements
  • Keep a clear record of work in a claims system
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation is completed
