About The Position

As a mechanical engineer for Land and Air Systems, you’ll be a member or lead of a cross functional team responsible for the design and development of Navigation, Communications and Control systems. This role is Hybrid/Flex as desired and will be part of the Scottsdale Facility, AZ.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months relevant experience.
Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

Very Solid with solid modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and accompanying drawings.
Very Solid knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools (ANSYS) and understanding of application.
Very Solid knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
Very Solid knowledge of technical standards, manufacturing/fabrication methods, government/industry standards.
Familiarity with and ability to apply MIL-STD-810.
Very Solid proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings
Very Solid knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex projects
Strong communication skills with ability to write technical papers and proposals
