About The Position
Oceaneering’s Marine Services Division (MSD) in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a highly skilled Inside Machinist Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our machine shop. We are a precision manufacturing company specializing in medium-sized, complex, and mission-critical components. Our work is non-repetitive, high-tolerance, and often governed by stringent technical and quality standards. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage a dynamic, high-stakes environment. This role may require overtime. Oceaneering is a global provider of engineered services and products, primarily to the offshore energy industry. We develop products and services for use throughout the lifecycle of an offshore oilfield, from drilling to decommissioning. We operate the world's premier fleet of work class ROVs. Additionally, we are a leader in offshore oilfield maintenance services, umbilicals, subsea hardware, and tooling. Oceaneering Marine Services Division (MSD) has over 30 years of experience providing full-service submarine and surface ship repairs supporting maintenance and alterations aboard commercial and U.S. military vessels. We are SUBSAFE and DDS-SOC certified and perform high-consequence maintenance on assets that operate in demanding environments.
