About The Position

ABB is hiring an Inserter for its Inserter Team in Fort Smith, Arkansas. This is an onsite, second-shift role reporting to the Production Supervisor. The position operates and maintains manufacturing equipment, follows production instructions and quality standards, collaborates with team members, and prioritizes safety and housekeeping.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of industrial or military experience, or vocational/technical education.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Have valid U.S. work authorization.
• Read, speak, and write English proficiently to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain regular attendance and be available for overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Motor manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain insert machines, coil winders, and pre-form presses.
• Adjust equipment settings based on blueprints and layouts.
• Use tools such as air manipulators and hoists.
• Read and interpret manufacturing documents and perform basic measurements and calculations.
• Meet production and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members, communicate issues, and support cross-training.
• Perform various roles as needed.
• Follow workplace safety guidelines, report issues, and maintain cleanliness.
• Work overtime when required.
