About The Position

The Inserter Operator operates machines that insert printed materials, such as letters or booklets, into folders or envelopes. The operator sets up and adjusts the machine to run efficiently, monitors output, and makes adjustments as needed. The role requires familiarity with routine equipment operating procedures, the ability to follow step-by-step instructions, and the ability to perform basic clerical tasks and routine equipment maintenance.

Requirements

• Familiarity with routine operating procedures for equipment that can be set up and operated by following a few step-by-step instructions.
• Ability to perform minor clerical tasks incidental to equipment operation.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment.
• Ability to identify improper machine operation and make basic adjustments.

Responsibilities
