About The Position

The position of Insert/Connect operator will be responsible for the assembly and dimensional inspection of various electromotive assemblies. Responsibilities include assembly set up, placement of parts, measuring, and visual inspection.

Requirements

• Must be able to read/understand part and assembly drawings, process specs & work instructions.
• Ability to read tape measures and measuring scales.
• Possess basic math skills required for working with decimals and fractions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous insert/connect experience preferred.
• Able to lift, push or pull up to 40 lbs.
• Able to operate an overhead crane.
• Able to perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and arms.
• Able to use hand tools and other equipment as required.
• Is safety oriented, follows shop rules.

• Producing high quality parts and assemblies made to print/spec requirements
• Demonstrate the ability to perform responsibilities while producing quality parts, to print, at the routed rate and in a safe manner while maintaining accuracy of counts, and part numbers.
