About The Position

The Inpatient Therapist provides clinical social work services on Southeast Behavioral Hospital’s inpatient units, consistent with the hospital’s philosophy and objectives. The role includes psychosocial assessments; individual, group, and family therapy; participation in treatment team planning; processing commitments; discharge planning and case management; crisis intervention; and liaison services with referral sources and other hospital departments. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position and requires working every other weekend. The position is eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology, or a related Social Services field.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a psychiatric setting.
• Licensure or certification as an LPC, LPC-A, LMFT, LMSW, or LCSW.
