About The Position

This position is for an Inpatient RN in the Surgical/Operating Room, specifically focusing on Pre-operative, Post-operative, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) services. The role is located at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The work schedule is 90% FTE, consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday, with varying start times. Additional compensation components may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime pay, and on-call pay. Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
• Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
• Bi-annual CPR certification.
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.

Nice To Haves

• Specialty certification in area of concentration.
• ACLS certification within two years of hire (for 9th Floor Only).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Pre-operative, Post-operative, and PACU settings.
• Administer patient care according to established protocols and standards.
• Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
