About The Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric perioperative patients and their families. The RN will evaluate patient’s responses to care based on the effectiveness of nursing interventions/actions in relationship to established goals. This position is 100% FTE, with a day/evening shift, Monday - Friday, with hours between 9:30 am - 9:00 pm. On-call responsibilities on weekends, weekday nights, and holidays are required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing Required
• 6 months of current surgical general care or emergency department experience Required
• Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
• CPR certification Upon Hire Required

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
• 2 years of current independent PACU, critical care, or ICU experience Preferred
• ACLS certification Preferred
• PALS certification Preferred
