Inpatient RN Surg/OR PACU
About The Position
The Inpatient RN Surg/OR PACU position is based at UW Health Swedish American Hospital, 1401 E State St. The schedule is 90% FTE, Monday through Friday, with 12-hour shifts and variable start times. The role includes an on-call requirement to provide off-hour department coverage. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 may be available. Additional compensation may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Candidates must graduate from an accredited school of nursing and provide documentation of a high school diploma or equivalent, or their highest completed degree. No minimum work experience is required. An active Illinois RN license and Basic Life Support/CPR certification are required. ACLS and PALS certification must be obtained by the end of orientation; specialty certification in the area of concentration is preferred. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Provide a copy of a high school diploma or equivalent, or the highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
- Obtain ACLS and PALS by the end of orientation.
