About The Position

This position is for an Inpatient RN in the Surgical/Operating Room at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The work schedule is 100% FTE, from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm, with orientation from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. The role may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000. Additional compensation components include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
• 911 Call Center Triage Only - 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting.
• Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
• Bi-annual CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• 911 Call Center Triage Only - Community nursing experience.
• Specialty certification in area of concentration.
• 9th Floor Only: ACLS certification within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Work Schedule: 100% FTE, 900am-7:30pm (Orientation 6:am30-5:00pm).
• Work at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL.
