About The Position
This position is for an Inpatient RN in the Surgical/Operating Room at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The standard work schedule is 100% FTE, from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm, with orientation from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. The role may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000. Additional compensation components include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Bi-annual CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting (for 911 Call Center Triage Only).
- Community nursing experience (for 911 Call Center Triage Only).
- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
- ACLS certification within two years of hire (for 9th Floor Only).
Responsibilities
