About The Position

This position is for an Inpatient RN in the Surgical/Operating Room at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The work schedule is 100% FTE, with shifts from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm. Orientation shifts are from 6:30 am to 5:00 pm. Eligible candidates may receive up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Additional compensation includes evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime pay, and on-call pay.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
• Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
• Bi-annual CPR certification.
• 2 years experience in an Emergency Room setting or Psychiatric Nursing setting (for 911 Call Center Triage Only).
• Community nursing experience (for 911 Call Center Triage Only).

Nice To Haves

• Specialty certification in area of concentration.
• ACLS certification within two years of hire (for 9th Floor Only).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the Operating Room.
• Participate in orientation shifts.
• Work 100% FTE.
