About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at UW Health Belvidere Hospital. The role involves cross-training for Pre-op, Post-op, and Phase 2 recovery. The department operates Monday through Thursday with 10-hour shifts, from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm or until the last patient is discharged.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Bi-annual CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- Float Pool Only – Cardiac Tele or Critical Care experience.
- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
Responsibilities
- Cross-trained for Pre op, Post op and Phase 2 recovery.
- Provide patient care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
