About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The role involves working 3-12 hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays, typically from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The position offers competitive pay, shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- NRP by end of orientation.
- STABLE certification within 1 year.
- RNC certification within 3 years of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Work 3-12 hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.
- Adhere to Basic Life Support/CPR standards.
- Obtain NRP certification by the end of orientation.
- Obtain STABLE certification within 1 year of hire.
- Obtain RNC certification within 3 years of hire.
