About The Position
This is a full-time, 90% FTE position for an Inpatient RN in Emergency Medicine at UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital. The role involves working evening/night shifts (3p-3a), 3-12 hour shifts per week, with every other weekend and rotating holidays. Additional compensation may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Associate's degree in nursing.
- Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- ACLS (maintain) certification within 6 months of employment.
- PALS (maintain) certification within 6 months of employment.
- CPI certification within 6 months of employment.
- ENPC certification within 18 months of employment.
- TNCC certification within 18 months of employment.
- ECRN certification within 18 months of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as an Inpatient RN in the Emergency Medicine department.
- Work evening/night shifts (3p-3a), 3-12 hour shifts per week.
- Work every other weekend and rotating holidays.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
- Adhere to all required certifications and maintain them within specified timeframes.
