About The Position

This position is for an Inpatient RN in Emergency Medicine at UW Health Swedish American Hospital. The work schedule is 90% FTE, working from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every other weekend with a holiday rotation. The role offers competitive pay with shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend work, as well as potential overtime and on-call pay.

Requirements

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
Provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained.
Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
Bi-annual CPR certification, which is required to be renewed by the recommended renewal date as stated on the card.
RN must obtain the following certifications within 6 months of employment: ACLS (maintain), PALS (maintain) and CPI.
RN must also obtain and maintain the following certifications within 18 months of employment: ENPC, TNCC and ECRN.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in an inpatient emergency medicine setting.
Work every other weekend with a holiday rotation.
Adhere to bi-annual CPR certification requirements.
Obtain and maintain specific certifications within designated timeframes (ACLS, PALS, CPI within 6 months; ENPC, TNCC, ECRN within 18 months).
