About The Position
This is a full-time, 90% FTE position for an Inpatient Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ED) at UW Health SwedishAmerican Hospital. The role involves working evening/night shifts, three twelve-hour shifts per week, every other weekend, and rotating holidays. The schedule is from 3pm to 3am. Additional compensation may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program.
- Associate's degree in nursing.
- Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support/CPR Certification.
- Emergency Department RN must obtain BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, ECRN and TNCC within the first year of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Specialty certification in area of concentration.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department.
