About The Position
Bozeman Health is seeking a psychiatrist to join their Inpatient Psychiatric team. They have opened a new 14-bed adult inpatient psychiatry unit and are looking for an additional psychiatrist to staff it. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an ACGME accredited psychiatry residency. This role involves managing psychiatric patients on the inpatient unit, as well as providing psychiatric consultation in other units and the emergency department as needed. Common disorders treated include depression, anxiety, bipolar, substance abuse, and psychosis.
Requirements
- Graduate of ACGME accredited psychiatry residency.
- Experience working in an inpatient psychiatric setting (preferred).
- Knowledge of multidisciplinary team psychiatric care (preferred).

- 3-5 years of post-residency experience.
- Experience working in an inpatient psychiatric setting.

Responsibilities
- Manage psychiatric patients on the inpatient unit.
- Provide psychiatric consultation in other units and the emergency department as needed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nursing, social work, occupational therapy, peer support, clinical pharmacy, and other therapeutic support services.
