About The Position

Our pharmacy team at Memorial Hospital Belleville is seeking patient-centered and experienced techs to join their team! This position involves preparing medication orders, assisting in dispensing and transporting medications, conducting sterile and/or non-sterile compounding, using various automated/electronic systems, and maintaining required documentation and records. Memorial Hospital Belleville is an acute care hospital offering a full complement of diagnostic and treatment services, including critical and emergency care. Requirements

• Certified Pharmacy Technician
• High School Diploma or GED
• State Board Pharmacy Registration
• Pharmacy Tech Certification
• <2 years of experience
• No supervisor experience

Nice To Haves

• 2-5 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Maintains quality assurance standards and required documentation; maintains regulatory cleanliness compliance.
• Assists in the preparation of medication orders, to include workflow management, basic preparation & dispensing, and non-sterile compounding.
• Uses automated/electronic systems to manage product preparation, inventory, patient records, and regulatory compliance.
• Supports various inventory activities, to include inventory storage, ordering, rotating, beyond use dating, and cleanliness.
• Pursues proficiency in compounding sterile preparations and/or other advanced skills.
