About The Position

This entry-level position is for a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Student looking to start their pharmacy career. In this part-time role, you will work in both sterile and non-sterile spaces preparing and delivering medications, and refilling Pyxis machines. You will learn to conduct non-sterile and/or sterile compounding and be responsible for maintaining required documentation and records. The role involves maintaining quality assurance standards, regulatory cleanliness compliance, and supporting inventory activities such as storage, ordering, rotation, and dating. You will also use automated/electronic systems for product preparation, inventory, patient records, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• No Experience
• State Bd Pharm Registration

Nice To Haves

• Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Student
• Pharmacy Tech Certification

Responsibilities

• Maintains quality assurance standards and required documentation; maintains regulatory cleanliness compliance.
• Assists in the preparation of medication orders, to include workflow management, basic preparation & dispensing, and non-sterile compounding.
• Uses automated/electronic systems to manage product preparation, inventory, patient records, and regulatory compliance.
• Supports various inventory activities, to include inventory storage, ordering, rotating, beyond use dating, and cleanliness.
• Preparing medications
