About The Position
The Inpatient Pharmacist works under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy and coordinates pharmacy department activities to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to hospital patients while ensuring patient safety. Patient care may include General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics, and Outpatient Services. The role is per diem, with variable shifts; the overview describes PRN days and evenings in 8-hour shifts.
Requirements
- Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
- B.S. degree in Pharmacy required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
- BLS certification preferred.
- ACLS certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate pharmacy department activities under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy.
