About The Position

Provides pharmaceutical care to customers of Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. The Pharmacy Team provides a supportive, mentoring environment. The role involves participating in and advising on central pharmacy operations and workflow, ensuring the accuracy of documenting services and supplies provided to patients, and reviewing patient history to provide adequate education for optimum outcomes. The pharmacist will prepare pharmaceutical products for patients’ use by safe and cost-effective methods using acceptable professional standards, comprehend and support quality assurance and risk management issues, and participate in various departmental duties including material resource management, clerical and financial responsibilities, and safety. Additionally, the role includes supervising technicians and pharmacy support staff, requiring excellent communication skills and adaptability to institutional roles and schedules.

Requirements

Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required.
Must be licensed as a Pharmacist with the Idaho State Board of Pharmacy.
Excellent communication skills.
Adaptable to institutional roles and schedules.
