About The Position

Ally Psychiatry is seeking a Board-Certified Inpatient/Outpatient Psychiatrist to join their expanding behavioral health team in Jacksonville, Florida. This role offers a diverse practice combining inpatient and outpatient psychiatry within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The position involves providing comprehensive psychiatric care across multiple treatment levels, working closely with experienced behavioral health professionals, and supervising/mentoring Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. Physicians will benefit from a supportive practice setting with the necessary resources to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain one
• DEA registration or eligibility
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
• Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric treatment
• Manage inpatient and outpatient treatment plans
• Supervise and collaborate with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
• Work alongside therapists, nursing staff, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in shared call coverage
