About The Position

Ally Psychiatry is seeking a PRN/Weekend Psychiatrist to provide inpatient psychiatric care in Jacksonville, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychiatrist looking for flexible weekend work, supplemental income, or a part-time commitment without a full-time schedule. The role involves providing inpatient psychiatric care to adult and geriatric patient populations, conducting psychiatric consultations and evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, and supervision/collaboration with PMHNPs and other clinical staff. The position offers flexible scheduling based on facility needs and physician availability.

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active Florida medical license
• DEA registration
• Strong clinical and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Inpatient psychiatry experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat adult and geriatric psychiatric patients
• Conduct psychiatric consultations and follow-up evaluations
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
• Provide medication management
• Collaborate with nursing, therapists, social workers, and other members of the treatment team
• Provide clinical supervision and support to midlevel providers
• Participate in discharge planning and coordination of ongoing care
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
