About The Position
Ally Psychiatry is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join their expanding behavioral health team in Jacksonville, Florida. This role involves providing comprehensive psychiatric care across multiple levels of treatment, combining inpatient and outpatient psychiatry within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The psychiatrist will work closely with experienced behavioral health professionals and help supervise and mentor Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. The position offers a supportive practice setting with the necessary resources to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain one
- DEA registration or eligibility
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric treatment
- Manage inpatient and outpatient treatment plans
- Supervise and collaborate with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
- Work alongside therapists, nursing staff, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in shared call coverage
