About The Position

United Health Services is seeking compassionate and dependable Nursing Assistants to join our inpatient care teams. In this role, you’ll provide direct, hands-on support to patients across a variety of units, helping ensure comfort, safety, and dignity throughout their hospital stay. As a Nursing Assistant, you play a vital role in the patient experience. From assisting with daily activities to offering reassurance during challenging moments, your kindness, attention to detail, and commitment to care help create a healing environment for both patients and their families. UHS is currently hiring across several inpatient units with a variety of shifts and FTE opportunities: Telemetry Oncology Rehabilitation- Physical & Brain Neuro/Neuroscience Suite Vascular Unit Medical/Surgical Stepdown Unit Orthopedics Pediatric Unit Medical/Surgical Respiratory Unit

Requirements

  • Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Completion of a Nurse’s Aide program
  • Previous hospital or healthcare experience.
  • License/Certification Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, mobility, and toileting
  • Support meal service and monitor patient intake
  • Take and document vital signs, reporting changes to the care team
  • Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
  • Assist with patient transport and unit support tasks
  • Provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families
  • Collaborate with nurses and other team members to ensure quality outcomes
