About The Position
Trustbridge Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join its Care Center team in West Palm Beach. The CNA delivers high-quality, compassionate care to hospice patients in inpatient care centers under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The role emphasizes comfort, dignity, emotional support, and meaningful assistance to patients and families.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification.
- Six months of experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Ability to drive, a reliable car, a good driving record, automobile insurance, and basic knowledge of the county territory.
- Ability to fulfill assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Must practice good personal hygiene and be neat and clean in appearance.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect care to patients in inpatient care centers.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures.
- Support a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for each patient.
- Offer emotional support to patients and their families, fostering dignity and compassion in each interaction.
- Fulfill assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.
