Inpatient Geriatric Faculty Position - Associate/Full Professor, Academic Clinician Track
About The Position
The Division of Geriatrics in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions within the non-tenure academic clinician track. This role involves teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, with an expectation of 100 credits per year dedicated to active and high-quality teaching. Clinical duties will focus on inpatient care, including a geriatric co-management/consultation service and an Acute Care of the Elders Unit. Selected candidates will also be expected to contribute to management and/or leadership within the division. The rank of the position will be determined based on the candidate's experience.
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- ABIM or ABFM certification
- Geriatric Medicine certification/eligibility
Responsibilities
