About The Position

This is a 10.5-week, full-time undergraduate internship running from May 24, 2027, through August 4, 2027. The hybrid schedule includes three days generally spent in the Hartford, Connecticut office (Tuesday through Thursday) and two days working remotely from home, the office, or another location of the intern’s choice. Relocation assistance is available to candidates who need to move more than 50 miles. Technology & Security interns help build, operate, and protect the technology behind CVS Health, including applications, cloud platforms, data, AI, networks, and security protections. Interns work on real projects across engineering, data, design, operations, and risk, and are matched to a team based on business needs, skills, and interests. Example projects may include building, automating, or testing software and cloud tools; developing AI and data solutions such as models, dashboards, and data pipelines; supporting product, design, and project work; or contributing to vulnerability assessments, compliance reviews, and network or cloud operations. The internship also includes corporate projects, community service, professional development workshops, mentorship and networking, and interaction with senior leaders. Innovation & Technology programming includes a Leadership Insight Series, an Intern Innovation Challenge, and learning opportunities in presentations and storytelling, emerging technology, and AI tools. The internship pays $38.50 per hour for 40 hours per week. Interns do not work on July 4, a company holiday, and receive two days of paid leave. Sponsorship for work visas, including CPT, OPT, and F-1 programs, is not available. The role has no application deadline; applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with a graduation date between September 2027 and August 2028.
Have a major, minor, or concentration relevant to the position; typical fields include Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Human Computer Interaction, Information Technology, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Data Science and Analytics, or Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.
