About The Position

The Innovation & Technology Software Engineering: Platform & Applications Internship is a 10.5-week, full-time internship from May 24, 2027, through August 4, 2027. It is a hybrid position based in Hartford, Connecticut; Dallas, Texas; Scottsdale, Arizona; or Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Interns generally work onsite three days per week, usually Tuesday through Thursday, and remotely two days per week from home, an office, or another location of their choice. Relocation assistance is provided to candidates who need to move more than 50 miles. Interns contribute to business projects and participate in community service, professional development workshops, mentorship and networking opportunities, and interactions with senior leaders. Interns help design, build, test, and deploy software solutions supporting customer, member, provider, and colleague experiences. Work spans applications, APIs, cloud platforms, integrations, automation, and modern engineering practices. The role offers experience developing application features, building APIs and microservices, automating testing and deployment pipelines, deploying applications to cloud environments, and improving application performance and reliability. The internship pays $43.00–$47.30 per hour for 40 hours per week. Pay depends on final office location and team assignment. There is no work on July 4, and interns receive two days of paid leave. Corporate interns have an increased likelihood of receiving an offer for a future role with CVS Health. Work visa sponsorship is not available, including CPT, OPT, and F-1 Visa programs.
