About The Position

The Innovation & Technology Software Engineering: Platform & Applications Internship is a 10.5-week, full-time internship running from May 24, 2027, through August 4, 2027. It is a hybrid position requiring three days per week—generally Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday—in an office in Hartford, Connecticut; Dallas, Texas; Scottsdale, Arizona; or Woonsocket, Rhode Island. The other two days may be worked remotely from home, an office, or another location. Relocation assistance is available to candidates who need to move more than 50 miles. Interns help design, build, test, and deploy software solutions supporting customer, member, provider, and colleague experiences. Work may span applications, APIs, cloud platforms, integrations, automation, and modern engineering practices. Interns participate in business projects, community service, professional development workshops, mentorship and networking, and interactions with senior leaders. The experience also includes a Leadership Insight Series, an Intern Innovation Challenge, and learning opportunities focused on presentations and storytelling, emerging technology, and AI tools. The internship is 40 hours per week, with no work on the July 4 company holiday and two days of paid leave. The hourly pay range is $43.00–$47.30, dependent on final office location and team assignment. Corporate interns may have an increased likelihood of receiving an offer for a future role with CVS Health. Work visa sponsorship is not available, including CPT, OPT, and F-1 visa programs.
