About The Position

As the Innovation Portfolio Leader, you will be instrumental in the successful delivery of innovation, which is critical to achieving Sazerac's growth plans. This role encompasses ownership of the full innovation pipeline and brand innovation strategy changes, including new launches both domestically and globally, and both internal and external initiatives. You will be responsible for bridging strategy and execution, providing end-to-end leadership in collaboration with brand leaders to design, develop, and execute innovation. This involves working with a multifunctional team to ensure the on-time delivery of all aspects of innovation, from idea generation and scope lock to design lock, artwork, master data setup, sales setup, ordering, production, shipment, and in-market presence. The role also includes managing interim steps within the innovation process and can cover growth, maintenance, optimization, and refresh projects across any brand, including new brands for Sazerac. Furthermore, it involves owning multi-year brand plans that drive volume, costs, and profitability.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience
5+ years relevant experience
Detail oriented with ability to quickly learn new systems/processes
Strong planning, organization, and interpersonal skills to influence direction and all functions

Nice To Haves

PMP certification
Strong working knowledge of MS office products (word, excel, outlook)

Responsibilities

Grow sales volume, manage and optimize cost of goods and overheads - while delivering highest quality products.
Ensure Priority Brands grow in volume and profit at a faster rate than the total business and comprise more than 65% of the portfolio.
Maintain a prioritized list of new initiatives and ensure projects are communicated and managed to achieve target ship dates and volumes.
