About The Position

Join our Innovation Engineering team in Ripon, WI, as an Innovation Engineer Intern. This role offers unique opportunities to gain hands-on experience and make a tangible impact on our cutting-edge projects. The Spring/Summer 2027 Co-Op is from January to August. This role is for an innovative thinker with a passion for engineering who wants to be at the forefront of discovering and developing new technologies. The team thrives on creative thinking and breakthrough technologies, and interns will contribute directly to projects that will shape the future of our products, gaining invaluable experience and building a strong foundation for their careers.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering or Physics
• Proactive, hands-on contributor with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to critically assess and implement new ideas.
• Exceptional computer skills, with proficiency in relevant software and tools.
• The role involves a mix of sitting for extended periods, occasional standing, stooping, bending, and minimal lifting.
• Manual dexterity is also required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Management to explore and identify new technologies that can be investigated, developed, or modified to enhance our product offerings.
• Partner with our lab to create Proof of Concepts (POCs) and conduct rigorous viability testing.
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to understand market dynamics and identify radical innovations that set us apart from the competition.
• Develop, test, and validate new "smart" laundry features.
• Design, model, and create prototype laundry components.
• Perform data analysis on test results and draft comprehensive test reports.
