About The Position

INX International is seeking an Ink Maker to grind raw materials and manufacture high-quality printing ink. The role involves tending mills and operating mixers safely and efficiently, following batch and milling procedures, and completing ink adjustments, filtering, packaging, and labeling. The position also operates a forklift and requires compliance with post-offer, pre-employment drug screening, physical, and background checks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 6 months of previous manufacturing experience.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic math, communication, and mechanical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of 5S workplace practices.
• Knowledge of TPM.
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Follow batch instructions to weigh batches, charge materials, and mix inks.
• Understand proper mixing procedures and raw materials.
• Monitor temperatures and mixing speeds and adjust them as needed.
• Follow milling procedures, adjusting pump speeds and mill rates.
• Filter, package, and label inks according to procedures.
• Make quality-control adjustments as instructed.
• Weigh raw materials for manufacturing high-quality printing ink.
• Operate one or more mixers safely and efficiently.
• Package finished products.
• Operate a forklift.
