About The Position

Under minimal to no supervision, the Ink Inplant Tech II provides intermediate-level color matching, ink formulation, and small-batch blending support at a customer location. The role produces and quality-controls inks to meet or exceed customer specifications, coordinates production to support the customer's schedule, and provides press-side technical service, troubleshooting, and reporting. The position is based in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and is scheduled for first shift, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as dispensing and color-match software.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the day.
• At least 3 years of industry experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills for a customer-facing position.

Responsibilities

• Produce and quality-control inks to ensure they meet or exceed customer specifications.
• Perform color matching and formulation.
• Maintain detailed production and quality-control records.
• Coordinate production to support the customer’s schedule.
• Review batch tickets to identify and execute rework opportunities.
• Provide press-side technical service, troubleshoot problems, and deliver detailed, consistent technical reporting.
• Maintain weekly and monthly reporting to CTS and the Sales organization.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe operations.
• Lift buckets weighing up to 50 pounds and move 500-pound drums in accordance with operating procedures.
